The struggle was real last week. I am talking 4 hour sleeps all week long, followed by a rather comatose weekend, attempting to nurture the bags under my eyes back to a viewer-friendly state. But I am not complaining, because I want it all, and I am out there trying to make it happen.

And by all, I don’t mean just professional and intellectual success, but also time to let loose with friends. This weekend, that came in the shape of La Boum Brunch, where more than one questionable thing happened. Let’s just say that if you’re in or around DC, enjoy day drinking, exhibitionism, friendship, and generous bartenders, then you should most definitely make a reservation.

Between this little escapade, and DCFW fittings, my time in front of the camera was eliminated from my week-end to-do list. Fear not, these Iphone photos, although not the best of the best, give you a glimpse into a recent ootd. A warm one, too. And before you start judging, the fur is not only faux, but also vintage. And, dressed down with a grey sweatshirt and a warm beanie, she is the perfect companion to a sunny, but frigid DC afternoon.
